2014 was a good year. Not the best, just good. But it was also tough. I worked hard in school, completing a total of 38 units and maintaining a great GPA. I also worked countless hours between three different jobs. And I’ve had some amazing highs and crazy lows these past 12 months.
This New Year is the first time I’ve been sans-boyfriend in six years, and although it has been a hard time in my life, I am looking forward to this year. I am moving toward being more focused, more self-empowered, and stronger in general. Learning to be alone is always hard, but I am facing the new year with a self confidence I’ve never felt before.
2015 is going to be a totally different experience.
My plans this year are to follow my gypsy feet wherever they lead me. They are soon leading me on a road-trip through the American West, and much of Europe on a backpacking adventure. My return flight has not been booked yet, and I’m not sure when I will feel the need to come home.
As my plans for travelling the world are constantly expanding, I wanted to find a way to inform and inspire readers about the beauty and wonder one can discover in the world through travel. I hope this year you can find the strength to follow your gypsy feet, too!
